Scandinavian Bunkering has for the past years been one of the biggest contributors to the great project "Street Angels" in Brazil

 

Street Angels, is a Norwegian organization working with poor children in Salvador, Brazil. The organization has been running for a few years and 50 children and their families receive help trough the day centre.

 

Salvador is situated in the state of Bahia which is one of the poorest areas in Brazil. The political, social and economical challenges are dominating the life situation of millions of people, and it is the children who suffer the most.

 

Children growing up without hope for a better future often end up living on the streets. From the streets, the transition into drug-trafficking, stealing, violence and prostitution is a very short one.

 

At the day centre the children receive constant care, schooling, 3 meals a day and their hygiene is taken care of. Play and creative activities are included every day.

 

 

The project are in constant need of more support!
